We
are a diverse group of individuals who share a common concern. The
local race tracks and drivers are experiencing the adversity of
a weak economy, inflated fuels prices and rising maintenance costs,
in virtually every aspect of the racing community. No facet of racing
is struggling harder than the dirt track race car driver.
Our
objectives are multifaceted. We are commited to organizing, producing
and promoting the Florida Dirt Bowl, an annual event dedicated to
the dirt race car driver. Our intentions are to raise as much money
as possible, through fundraisers, solicitations and promotional
sales, and distributing 100% of those funds back to the drivers.
Whatever we raise will be will go to the drivers, with variable
payout processes regulated by the amount of funds we raise. Additionally,
we are determined to make every effort to unify the dirt racing
community by cordinating events which will benefit all dirt racing
facilities.
Having
recently filed our nonprofit articles of incorporation, it is our
intention to present to the dirt racing community a fan-based coalition
whose SOLE PURPOSE is to assist in anyway we can. Whether it's raising
money, cordination information-sharing networks or simply by attempting
to boost the moral of those dedicated individuals who come to race,
by showing them......we care and that we appreciate their commitment.
It
doesn't really have to be any more complicated than that.
